Indeed, this type of bike has become a means of transport appreciated by many people.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What place does the electric bike occupy in frequent journeys?<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A European survey based on 400 electric bike users showed that the <strong>e-bike<\/strong> occupies quite an important place in our daily journeys:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>45% of users use their e-bike for home-to-work journeys<\/li>\n<li>9 km: <i>electric bike<\/i> users ride an average of 9 km per day<\/li>\n<li>19 km\/h: e-bike users average 19 km\/h in urban areas; this bike is therefore a fast and eco-friendly means of transport<\/li>\n<li>40 years old: the average age of <u>electric bike<\/u> users is 40<\/li>\n<li>two thirds of users are working employees<\/li>\n<li>43% of users live in city centres<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Using an electric bike every day is good for your health!<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Frequent physical activity helps considerably against chronic diseases (hypertension, cancer, osteoporosis, diabetes) and cardiovascular diseases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pedalling an electric bike<\/strong> is considered a much more intense <strong>physical activity<\/strong> than walking. Indeed, some users see the <strong>e-bike<\/strong> as an excellent way to keep physically fit.
