Hello and many thanks to the power e-bike team for this RH205 S 330/420 electric bike kit. The performance is there and the order arrived quickly and very well packed.
Here are the specs of my handmade carbon velotaff electric bike.
It consists of a 38-tooth DH single chainring and a 7-speed 11/32 freewheel. The weight of the bike with all these components is 20kg. (frame 2.5kg) Top speed with sustained pedalling 54.54km/h and 40 km of range without draining the battery of course 🙂 without pedalling too hard.
The hydraulic brakes bite and are well needed to stop this mount, at a 203mm diameter, heating is lower. The frame houses the battery, and the controller sits under the saddle in the open air for good cooling. This is my first electric bike project, and I fully intend to repeat it with a more refined model, full suspension.
This one gives me complete satisfaction, the electric bike is a delight and indeed “the end of fuel” once you have tried it. Happy riding to everyone.
